📝In 2010 or 2011 I discovered a few artists that used loop stations while playing live and I thought it was the most impressive thing ever. And I also thought “I could never”. Fast forward only 15 years and here I am, trying out my first loop pedal. Hey folks, on Saturday the 7th of February we’re throwing a café concert at Herman Schulz Café, @chee_awai invited me to come perform alongside @bidar.music , we’re all playing short sets of about 20-30 minutes each. Swing by if you’re free, it will be super cosy. . . It will be a night of Folk, Indie rock and Soul. Chee-Awai will play his songs with acoustic guitar, Bidar will play piano and sing, and yours truly is preparing a special set for the night. It will be my first concert of the year, so don’t you miss it. Music from 19.30 until 21.30, we’re doing donations (but we recommend you to pay 5 to 10). 🌹After my last gig, I was on the (delayed) train home when a man came up to me and gave me this. He said “you looked so tired before, maybe you had a long day, I just wanted to give you this and wish you a good rest of the day. Goodbye.” And he left again. What a kind gesture. And a lovely white rose made out of paper. 🗓️Tomorrow I’ll be at another white rose, namely @weisserose_berlin and play a live set, followed by the lovely @daisy_confused_ I’m thinking of bringing the banjo too. 💸Free entry. 🕰️ Doors: 6 pm. 🪕My set: 7 pm. I got two more gigs to play before summer is over, and, looking out my window, I‘m feeling kind of glad that they are indoors.
